For a trip to Cuba you should carry

• A roundtrip air ticket
• A valid Passport, with at least 6 months of validity starting your date of entry to Cuba
• A Tourist Visa or Tourist Card
• Medical Insurance
• A health passport or international certificate of anti-covid-19 vaccination, if you do not have it, you must present a certification of PCR-RT negative to covid-19 carried out during the 72 hours before traveling, from a laboratory certified in the country of origin.

The Tourist Visa or Tourist Card has a valid period of 30 days renewable for a second period of one month

At entering at Cuba there is no sanitary restrictions for travelers coming from countries where cholera or yellow fever are endemic, or has been declared infectious zones by the World Health Organization

Cuba Time Zone

Cuba uses EST time (GMT -5) as normal timezone and switches to CDT (GMT-4) in the spring (aproximately in April).

Cuban currency

The legal tender in Cuba is the Cuban peso (cup) with which you can pay for all the services offered in the country.

You can exchange in exchange houses and in Cuban commercial banks the foreign currency that you have per cup, at the moment the United States dollar (USD) is not being exchanged but the following currencies are: Mexican Peso, Euro, Pound Sterling, Dollar Canadian, Swiss Franc, and Japanese Yen. VISA and MasterCard cards that have not been issued by banks in the United States or their subsidiaries around the world are also accepted.
